On the world’s largest website for Open Source programs and products have the world’s best open source solutions now been chosen. The community of www.Sourceforge.net Choice Awards only awards the best solutions.

Before the actual election there are 3 absolute favorites. One of it is the PortableApps suite. A very practical program that involves a lot of small programs for a USB stick or an external hard drive. These includes, inter alia, a virus scanner and the portable version of the Mozilla Firefox browser.

The next program in the category favorites is probably the most known. It is the OpenOffice. OpenOffice is a truly successful and remain free alternative to Microsoft Office.

The new open-source DVD is here. Many programs, games and tools as open source versions for free. Open source code for free editing program each and every game. That is the open-source DVD.

The new DVD of the open source edition of 14 October 2008 includes 405 programs, a large number of free games, 112 OpenOffice templates, full 60 extensions for the Firefox browser and also 50 programs for the USB Flash Drive (portable programs, this can be carried everywhere and then quickly come to use) .
