Mozilla Firefox – Tuning
Everybody knows it and a lt of people are using it. I’m talking about the actually biggest competitor for the Microsoft Internet Explorer, the Mozilla Firefox.
The Mozilla Firefox is for free, and because it is based on the Mozilla programcode also an open source program. So you can change and enhance it every way you want to.
It’s also possible to “tune” the Mozilla Firefox. This is very interesting because some settings in the browser will lead to higher speeds and better performance.
In the following we will present some tuning-possibilities more exactly:
In order to be able to change the attitudes of the Mozilla Firefox, you first have to enter this into the address line:
about:config
Here now first opens a window with a warning, which contains changes of the default values could endangering the stability. Click: “I am promised to be carefully !”
Now you have the attitudes of the Mozilla Firefox in front of you. By input of a term into the border “filter” you are able to search for certain values. Now the following values should be entered and/or changed:

Apart the optimization possibilities you can do in the source text would, there also are Plugins for the browser with its assistance it becomes more faster.
The most well-known tool for this is the Flexbeta FireTweaker XP. This program offers more than 25 possibilities to change the Firefox after own desires and ideas. Hereby also the layout and the colors can be determined.
